My Artistic Vision

Discover how I pour the full spectrum of human emotion into my abstract paintings—moments of tenderness, quiet ache, and unexpected joy woven into every stroke. My work invites you to pause, breathe, and step into a space where feelings are allowed to unfold slowly. Each piece becomes an unspoken conversation, a gentle pull toward your own memories and sensations, encouraging you to connect not just with the art, but with yourself, on a level that lives beyond language and lingers in the heart.

It’s about being human – the emotions we hold, the moments we live through, and the beauty that still finds its way through all of it.

Emotional Abstract Painter

Artist Statement

I’ve always thought of myself as an emotional abstract painter, long before I realised it was actually a thing – or something people might understand. For me, painting isn’t about creating an image; it’s about bringing to life something that wants to be born.

Everything I paint comes from a very private place that we all carry inside – a space where honesty and emotional freedom often hides, but also lives side by side. When I paint, I paint what I feel. It can be joy, confusion, hope, loss, despair, heartache – or the quiet strength that surfaces when your whole world has changed. Sometimes I’m searching for answers, peeling back layers, trying to work through what happened or why. Words don’t always reach that place, but paint somehow can.

What I hope most is that when someone stands in front of my work, they feel something real – maybe a sense of calm, or energy, or a spark of recognition. Maybe they see something that makes them pause and think, I think I might have felt like that. Because that’s what painting means to me – a kind of shared language that fills the space that words cannot. If someone connects with a piece, even for a moment, then it’s no longer just my emotion or my story on the canvas – it becomes part of theirs too. That quiet exchange, that recognition between artist and viewer, is what it’s all about. It’s about being human – the emotions we hold, the moments we live through, and the beauty that still finds its way through all of it.
